July 2, 2023 – Robert attends the “Books, Bubbly & Bloom Garden Party” in The Hamptons. This event was put on by KDHamptons.com, Lux Lifestyle Magazine, andbedsidereading.com, celebrating the 2023 Hot Authors List. The event was held in Water Mill, New York.

January 31, 2018: Robert had a wonderful time meeting the children during his visit to the Delray Beach Public Library in Delray Beach, Florida!
“Mr. Thayer visited our library with great enthusiasm and seemingly unlimited knowledge about manatees. He kept our group of school aged children engaged for an hour with fun facts and opening the floor to questions. The children’s energy was palpable as they asked question after question and eagerly awaited the answers. I almost thought we would run out of time before he even began reading his book! The book entertained and a light bulb went off as he began to play his guitar and sing.
